CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Jazz Orchestra always looks forward to this holiday concert. Maestro Robert Lewis and our 18-piece big band with special guest vocalist Zandrina Dunning will swing you into the holiday spirit with big band arrangements of holiday favorites. Ticket prices range from $25 – $60. Senior rates for 65 and older. $10 for students and children.

We will be joined by the great local vocalist Zandrina Dunning for several tunes, including a few from the classic Ella Fitzgerald Christmas albums. Also, we’ll be performing the entire Duke Ellington arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. About Zandrina Dunning:
Zandrina Dunning is a professional singer/songwriter and event producer originally from Boston Massachusetts. She resides in Charleston, South Carolina performing all genres of music ranging from opera to soul/funk to country. Zandrina has performed with local and national recording artists to include Multi-Grammy Award winner George Benson, Nashville singer/songwriter Patrick Davis, Darius Rucker & Mark Bryan of Hootie & The Blowfish, American Idol Season 11 finalist, Elise Testone, and more. Zandrina can be seen performing in and around Charleston with local bands and with her own project, The Zandrina Dunning Experience. She would like to thank her helping hands for the support she’s needed to be able to pursue a full-time career in music and theater arts.

About the Charleston Jazz Orchestra:
Under the direction of Robert Lewis, the Charleston Jazz Orchestra has been performing for audiences in the Lowcountry for over 10 years. The CJO is comprised of 18 accomplished jazz musicians and is an entertaining and educational example of the rich history of jazz in Charleston. The Charleston Jazz Orchestra offers a six concert subscription series known for its unique, enthusiastically received performances that contribute mightily to the ever-evolving Lowcountry arts scene.
