Charleston Jazz Orchestra Season 14 will feature guest artists @CamilleThurman for an evening of jazz standards, the Buena Vista Legacy Band and @ginocharleston for a Cuban celebration and @sjonesjazz for a Miles Davis tribute. The remaining #CJOSeason14 lineup will include #DukeEllington Suites, the music of #ChickCorea and the Charleston Jazz tradition – #HolidaySwing.

The evening will consist of a musical conversation about jazz music heroes and their proteges, featuring jazz trumpet virtuoso, Jon Faddis 🎺 and Dr. Al Fraser 📖, djembe artist and co-author of To Be or not….to Bop – Memoirs Dizzy Gillespie. Signed books will be available for purchase at the event.

This special event will also include a private performance from Jon Faddis with a rhythm section comprised of local jazz musicians:
