The CJO is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of John Coltrane and Miles Davis. On May 7, from 7-8pm, the Charleston Jazz Academy will host a Miles and Coltrane Listening Shed. We will listen to iconic recordings from both artists and have local jazz professionals highlight and breakdown nuances that may be easily missed. Listening is still the most effective way to learn, understand and digest this music.
