Whether to capture our attention with instantly recognizable theme songs, transport us to different worlds, or guide us on an emotional journey, music plays an essential part of the storytelling process in both television and film. From the small screen to the silver screen, the Charleston Jazz Express will revisit some of the most memorable musical moments in television and film, including Toy Story, The Sound of Music, Pennies From Heaven, and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory!
The Charleston Jazz Express, led by Robert Lewis and made up of Charleston Jazz Orchestra members, is an accomplished group of jazz musicians and an example of the rich history and legacy of Jazz in Charleston. Joining the CJE will be Lowcountry favorite, guest vocalist Zandrina Dunning.
