Join Charleston Jazz for a memorable celebration of jazz at our annual fundraising gala, What a Wonderful World.
Inspired by the legacy of Louis Armstrong—whose deep commitment to jazz education helped shape generations of musicians in New Orleans—What a Wonderful World celebrates the power of jazz to transform lives and strengthen our community.
Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner, open bar, live auction, Fund-a-Need, and extraordinary performances by acclaimed trumpeter Bruce Harris alongside talented students from the Charleston Jazz Academy.
Proceeds from the evening directly support Charleston Jazz’s education and outreach programs, which provide young people throughout our region with access to jazz through in-school performances, mentorship, scholarships, ensembles, and professional instruction.
Charleston Jazz is the only organization in our community dedicated solely to making jazz music accessible and available for young people to experience, learn, and perform. Through these programs, students not only discover America’s original art form, but also gain confidence, creativity, discipline, and connection through music.
