Local jazz artists to perform at free event at Republic Garden and Lounge.

CHARLESTON, SC (MAY 23, 2017) – Charleston Jazz will be hosting its Piccolo Spoleto Jazz Jam at Republic Garden and Lounge (462 King Street Charleston, SC 29403) on Sunday, May 28 from 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Charleston Jazz welcomes all jazz lovers and encourages local jazz musicians to stop by and share their talent on the stage. This event will be free and open to the public.The house jam band includes the following musicians:
David Carter – Trumpet
Richard White – Piano
Brian Reed – Bass
Bates Holman – Drums

“Our annual Piccolo Spoleto Jazz Jam is a place where all jazz lovers and musicians can gather to enjoy the American art form that Charleston helped bring to the world,” said Mary Beth Natarajan, Executive Director at Charleston Jazz.
