Jon Thornton – Forte Jazz Lounge

Forte Jazz Lounge is Charleston’s only strictly jazz venue. Jazz is always on-tap with the best musicians performing every week.

Jon Thornton has relocated back to Charleston SC after two years in San Francisco. Having performed with The Woody Herman Orchestra, the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Herb Ellis, Max Roach, Emily Remler, Jaco Pastorious and countless other Jazz Greats makes him one of the best trumpet/vocalist combinations on the East Coast!

The first show of the night begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and the second starts at 9:30 p.m. with doors opening at 9:00 p.m. Our guests are welcome to come early. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Shows are at 7pm and 9:30pm

The lounge offers three sections of seating:

• VIP —— couch style seating $27

• Premium –table seating $22

• General —high table and bar seating $17
