Jamie Slater – Forte Jazz Lounge

Forte Jazz Lounge is Charleston’s only strictly jazz venue. Jazz is always on-tap with the best musicians performing every week.

Jazz guitarist, composer, and educator Jamie Slater has been a fixture in the Charleston, SC  Jazz scene for over 20 years. He has had the privilege of performing countless musical engagements (including the Spoleto Festival) with such great South Carolina musicians as Kevin Hackler, Tommy Gill, John Cobb, Quentin Baxter and Charlton Singleton.

The first show of the night begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and the second starts at 9:30 p.m. with doors opening at 9:00 p.m. Our guests are welcome to come early. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Shows are at 7pm and 9:30pm

The lounge offers three sections of seating:

• VIP —— couch style seating $27

• Premium –table seating $22

• General —high table and bar seating $17
