Grits & Steel is a contemporary ensemble influenced by the island music of Trinidad and Tobago. Comprised of a stellar group of core musicians, each member comes to the band with diverse and unique musical experiences ranging from classical, jazz, pop/rock, hip-hop, funk, and world music. Blending together their musical experiences, the band represents the convergence of popular American music with sounds from around the world.
