An Evening of Jazz featuring the SCSU Jazz Band

Since 2011, our Annual Evening of Jazz featuring the SCSU Jazz Ensemble is one of the most awaited events of the year in the Charleston area. This is where Jazz enthusiasts and others who like to hear great music and have a good time gather to hear the sounds of local jazz artists and the talented musicians of the SCSU Jazz Ensemble.
The Charleston Alumni Chapter of South Carolina State University is again proud to present its “Evening of Jazz” featuring the SCSU Jazz Ensemble with an added surprise for this year. Our 2018 concert will be held on Saturday April 7th, 6:00pm at the Burke High School, Performing Arts Center. The purpose of this event is to raise funds to provide scholarships for students in the Charleston area to attend South Carolina State University. We ask that you support this event by purchasing tickets and by being a sponsor at the advertised levels. Ticket prices for this event is $25 per ticket in $30 at the door. Students with ID $15​.
