4/30/2020 – From the Archives: Songs of Love – Virtual Performance
April 30, 2020 @ 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM EDT
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are releasing pre-recorded videos of Charleston Jazz Orchestra performances every week on our YouTube channel and Facebook page, free of charge, to provide comfort and connection during these uncertain times.
If you are in a position to support the continuation of this virtual concert series, please make a donation HERE. Half the funds raised directly support our musicians, many of whom have lost their income due to the cancellation of all concerts and gigs. Without our talented musicians, there is no Charleston Jazz Orchestra.
Thank you in advance for your support!

SONGS OF LOVE: Diane Schuur sings Cole Porter, Billie Holiday and more!
Originally performed live on February 23, 2019
Charleston warmly welcomes back vocalist Diane Schuur to sing with the Charleston Jazz Orchestra as it kicks off its eleventh Season. A two time Grammy Award Winner, Diane’s voice is expressive, romantic and mischievous as it radiates warmth and soulful passion. Frank Sinatra adored Diane and invited her to sing with him and his band conducted by Quincy Jones. She also performed alongside Herbie Hancock on the classic ‘I Just Called to Say I Love You’ for Stevie Wonder at The Kennedy Center Honors. She will present with the CJO her favorite Songs of Love, featuring the music of Cole Porter, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday and more!
