Having grown up in Charleston, Abby cultivated a love for music and the arts at a young age. She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2021, receiving a B.A. in Music with a concentration in Music Theory and Composition. Throughout college, Abby studied jazz and classical piano and composed multiple works for student-held concerts. In January 2021, she had the opportunity to compose an original piano composition for the Halsey Institute’s project “Displacements,” where she was able to personally perform and record her piece. When she isn’t playing piano, Abby enjoys reading books, learning new languages, and spending time with her dog Albert.
